Jeff tapped his pen on his notebook, following the beat of the song playing in his ears, as he worked through the next problem on his AP calculus homework. He’d gone straight back to his room after Warbler practice, wanting to get his assignments out of the way, so he’d have a blissfully free weekend - or mostly free. With the Avengers being released, and his plans to see it with Nick at midnight, he didn’t want anything to get in the way of that. No doubt he’d be sleeping it off, as much as he could, the next day. Even if he had a classes to go to. He could be a zombie. A post Avengers watching zombie. That was an acceptable thing to be.
“I’m on the floor, floor. I love to dance. So give me more, more. ‘Til I can’t stand,” he sang, bopping his head a bit, and scribbling the answer he’d worked out onto the paper. He bit down on his lip, working through it once more, just to make sure he’d done it perfectly. It helped a little too, being able to distract himself with his work. Especially with the way most of his conversations had been going the last few days.
